According to a press release from the Croatian Sabor, Seks and Solyom agreed that the Croatian-Hungarian bilateral relations could serve as a model of well-developed good-neighbourly relations.
The two officials also pointed out the importance of the parliamentary cooperation for Croatia's efforts to join the European Union. In this context, it was reiterated that Hungary strongly supported Croatia's bid to enter the European bloc and NATO.
Seks also emphasised the importance of launching procedures for concluding cross-border cooperation agreements between units of local governments in the border areas of the two countries.
