According to a press release issued by the office of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, on Thursday the Hungarian head of state will hold talks with Mesic and other top Croatian officials, including Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
On Friday Solyom and Mesic will visit Orahovica, Osijek and the Kopacki Rit nature park in eastern Croatia.
The Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry stated on Wednesday that the Croatian and Hungarian governments would hold their second joint session on 17 May in Zagreb.
Officials of the two countries today agreed on the agenda of the session.
The Croatian-Hungarian minority committee convened today to discuss the protection of Croatian and Hungarian minorities and adopted some recommendations in this regard, the ministry said.
