ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - Europe Week will be held throughout Croatia on May 2-9, consisting of various informational, educational and entertainment events primarily intended for informing the public about the European Union and
Croatia's accession, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said on Friday.

Croatia on May 2-9, consisting of various informational, educational and
entertainment events primarily intended for informing the public about the
European Union and Croatia's accession, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
European Integration said on Friday. The Ministry is organising
Europe Week for the seventh consecutive year and this year will see lectures in
most Croatian counties, addresses by senior state officials, ambassadors,
politicians and professors, the 13th national forum on EU accession, public
debates and other projects in which citizens will be able to find out about
processes related to Croatia's accession to the bloc.
Europe Week will be opened by President Stjepan Mesic at the Zagreb
School of Economics on May 2.
The central celebration, on the occasion of Council of Europe Day, will
take place in Zagreb's central Ban Jelacic Square on May 5.
