The general conclusion is that the number of incidents and cases of misconduct by intelligence agents has been reduced significantly, which is seen as the result of professionalisation of the intelligence community, Committee Chairman Ivan Jarnjak told reporters after a closed meeting.
The head of the Office of the National Security Council, Ladislav Pivcevic, said that at the request of the Committee, last year the Office carried out inspections in the SOA and found no case of intelligence agents overstepping their authority or endangering civil rights.
The regular annual inspection found that the security intelligence agencies were operating in accordance with the law, Pivcevic said.
