According to a statement from the Croatian Parliament, Mimica informed the guests about the activities of the Committee on European Integration and Croatia's position in the process of accession to the European Union.
Mimica thanked the German officials for the support the Bavarian provincial parliament was extending to Croatia, saying he was pleased with the possibility of exchanging experience with the Committee for Federal and European Affairs.
The talks also focused on the role of the National Committee for the Supervision of EU Accession Talks, through which the Croatian Parliament is involved in the negotiating process.
Dialogue between the Government and the Parliament is good and is likely to stay that way this year, which is an election year in Croatia, Mimica said.
Also discussed were the reform of state administration and economic issues, the statement said.
The German delegation also met for talks with Kresimir Cosic, a member of the parliamentary Home Policy and National Security Committee.
