Croatian top quality commodity brands to be presented in three European cities

ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Hina) - The Croatian Chamber of the Economy (HGK) will promote top quality national commodity brands bearing the labels "Original Croatian" and "Croatian Quality" at exhibitions to be held in three European cities.
ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Hina) - The Croatian Chamber of the Economy (HGK) will promote top quality national commodity brands bearing the labels "Original Croatian" and "Croatian Quality" at exhibitions to be held in three European cities.

The campaign, called "Be CROative", is a follow-up to the HGK's campaign implemented over the last ten years, during which 164 products were awarded "Croatian Quality" labels, and 81 products were given "Originally Croatian" labels, HGK president Nadan Vidosevic said at a news conference on Monday.

The purpose of the project "Be CROative" is to promote quality Croatian products as part of Croatia's tradition, development and research, and innovations, as well as show that apart from successful athletes and a beautiful nature, the country also has top-quality products, Vidosevic said.

Thirty-one Croatian commodity brands will be presented at a series of exhibitions at tourism fairs in Munich (22-26 February), Lisbon (Expolingua fair, 8-10 March) and Brussels (early March).

Some of the products to be presented are Pliva's Sumamed antibiotic, Podravka's Vegeta food additive, Badel's plum brandy, Kras's Bajadera chocolates, Belje's "kulen" salami, Dalmatian cheeses, wines, lace from the island of Pag, etc.
