Addressing reporters after a five-minute police interview, Matijevic said that he had refused to talk or give any information regarding a witness statement made at a hearing on November 11 before Zagreb County Court Zdenko Posavec, who is investigating Glavas and Krunoslav Fehir in the so-called Garage case. The investigation has been temporarily suspended due to Glavas's poor condition caused by a long-lasting hunger strike.
Matijevic said that he had been summonsed to the interview by telephone at the request of the Zagreb Municipal Prosecutor's Office.
Attorney Marko Dumancic was in the police department building for about ten minutes. On leaving the building, he told reporters that the interview was an attempt at intimidation.
Dumancic said that police did not show him any newspaper articles or any other documents that would indicate that the confidentiality of court proceedings had been breached on November 11.
