SARAJEVO, Nov 5
(Hina) - The House of Peoples in Bosnia and
Herzegovina's bicameral parliament on Tuesday adopted the legislation
on assigning personal identification numbers, putting an end to
months-long debate on the matter which also triggered off mass
protests in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo this June after a newborn
baby with serious diseases could not travel abroad for treatment as it
could not be given her personal identification number and thus was
denied a passport.
