Speaking to the press after an Initiative meeting in Zagreb, Josic said it was "shameful" that in his invitation to the Initiative's representatives, Milanovic set conditions to whom he would talk to.
"It seems that neither the prime minister nor the police minister nor the other ministers have realised that what is happening in Vukovar is not the Initiative's problem. This is a problem on a national level, of all Croatian war veterans, patriots and victims," he said.
"The veterans elected their representatives and if the prime minister wants to talk with us, then he will talk with the delegates we choose and not he."
Josic said the situation in the eastern town was such that "the prime minister should have come to Vukovar long ago to check the situation on the ground."
He invited Milanovic and his cabinet ministers to come there tomorrow at noon to attend the Initiative's meeting.
