The contract slipped under 75.30 cents but managed to hold above the next level of support at 74.80 cents. The selling dried up late in the session, allowing the March contract to climb towards unchanged. March cotton ended just 0.01 cent weaker at 75.53 cents per pound, traded 75.74 to 74.92 cents. The back months closed 0.13 higher to 0.50 lower. Volume was moderate at an estimated 8,500 lots. 191142 MET dec 96
