"We are entering a holiday market already," a trader said. There was little fresh news to trade on, and follow through selling from Friday was also noted, along with the inability of early trade buying to avoid a negative close. March cotton went out 0.25 cent weaker at 75.85 cents per pound, traded 76.17 to 75.70 cents. Volume was modest at an estimated 4,000 lots compared to Friday's official 5,490 lots. 171047 MET dec 96
