Parliament revises 2012 budget

ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - Parliament on Tuesday revised this year's budget by a majority vote, increasing revenues by HRK 1.4 billion, expenditures by HRK 1.5 billion and the deficit by HRK 100 million to HRK 10 billion.

Revenues are projected at HRK 110.3 billion and expenditures at HRK 120.3 billion.

Expenditures went up mainly because of HRK 1.6 billion higher costs for the salaries of budget beneficiaries. Financial expenditures also went up because of the interest on the debt of the shipyards, bonds issues on the US market, and subsidies.
