Pride was banned in a European city and that constitutes discrimination. That's not the Europe I want to live in, she said, calling on all politicians to oppose intolerance.
Ohlsson had announced earlier she would come to Belgrade to attend Pride Parade, saying today she was disappointed by the ban and that all citizens must have the right to stand up and say proudly and freely who and what they are, Belgrade's media reported.

Dutch member of the European Parliament Marije Cornelissen said the Pride ban was a big disappointment and that the Serbian government had failed the first test by letting hooligans win.
