OF VICTIMS OF MUSLIM MASSACRE IN KRIZANCEVO: 74 $ VITEZ, Dec 31 (Hina) - "The Muslim forces killed 74 Croats in Krizancevo selo," according to what the 3rd Muslim army corps told the British Col. Williams. During his visit to the Vitez area this morning Col. Williams stated that there are two mass graves in the area of the village of Poculice, and that there are 38 bodies in one of them and 8 bodies in the other. Captain Gell yesterday stated that there are 15 bodies of the dead Croats at the demarcation lines. It remains unclear, however, what happened to 13 killed, since the British UNPROFOR battalion commander got the confirmation that 74 Croats had been killed. The HVO Commissariat in the Vitez area said it had been agreed that the Bosanska Karajina service would take over the 15 bodies of Croats from the disengagement line on January 2 near the village of Krizancevo and to collect the bodies from the mass graves in the presence of UNPROFOR and ICRC. The massacre of Croats in Krizancevo is one of the greatest crimes ever committed over the Croatian population in B-H. The HVO sources in Vitez recalled that 52 Croats were taken away from the village of Maljina and killed during the Muslim occupation of a part of the Travnik municipality last June, which was also confirmed by the UN Commissariat for Human Rights, as well as that over 80 persons disappeared from the Croatian villages of Brajkovici, Radojcici and Cukala. They also said that up until today the Muslims did not allow the international organizations to verify the data of the Vitez HVO on that occupied area. The battlefields in the Vitez area were rather quiet, although regrouping was spotted in the Lasva valley, and the fresh attacks are expected. 311615 MET dec 93
