PROTEST BY CROATIAN JOURNALISTS' SOCIETY

ZAGREB, Dec 24 (Hina) - The Croatian Journalists' Society issued a protest on Friday against the way Bosnian Moslem authorities treated the "White Road" convoy which brought humanitarian aid to the besieged Croatian community in central Bosnia. "The protest particularly applies to the way Moslem authorities treated the journalists accompanying the convoy. We find it contrary to all principles of civilization norms as well as to all provisions regulating the treatment of journalists," said the protest, requesting that the perpetrators be punished. Journalists travelling with the convoy were maltreated and robbed by Moslem troops, and one journalist was even wounded during a Moslem attack on the convoy while on its return journey from Nova Bila. 241657 MET dec 93
