MOSLEMS ATTACK CONVOY: ONE DRIVER KILLED, TWO PERSONS WOUNDED

MOSTAR, Dec 22 (Hina) - Moslem forces attacked the convoy of the humanitarian action for Nova Bila and Silver Bosnia when it was on his way back to Croatia from Nova Bila. According to the first information, one driver was killed and the other seriously wounded. A member of the convoy was also wounded, said the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) HQ. The attack took place on the territory under the control of Moslem forces at about 14:00 today. The trucks which were in the middle of the convoy came under sniper fire. The first part of the convoy arrived in Prozor at about 16:00 hours, said Croatian journalists who escort the convoy. The second part of the convoy stayed near Gornji Vakuf on the territory under the Moslem control. Spokesperson of the UNPROFOR British Battalion in Split Brigadier Fred Perry confirmed in the afternoon the information that the convoy was attacked and that one driver was killed and one wounded. HVO HQ in Mostar sent a message to President of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia Mate Boban, who is currently in Brussels, requesting him to inform participants in the Conference on Bosnia- Herzegovina in Brussels about the attack. 221737 MET dec 93
