ARCHBISHOP OF SARAJEVO ON MURDERS OF TWO FRANCISCAN PRIESTS

SARAJEVO, Nov 17 (Hina) - In reference to the murder of two Franciscan priests in Fojnica, committed by Muslim forces, Bosnian Archbishop Msgr. Vinko Puljic forwarded a Statement to the B-H Presidency in Sarajevo, the Holy Sede in Vatican and to media. "We experience this gesture as a cowardly and criminal act. We expect that those responsible undertake investigation and punish the criminals, and to protect the Franciscans and nuns who remained in the ancient monastery just to preserve the cultural and historic treasure there.
