APPEAL FOR CROATS TRAPPED IN VARES AREA, CENTRAL BOSNIA

ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - The vicariate for refugees and displaced persons of the Bosnian Archdiocese based in Zagreb on Tuesday sent an appeal for the salvation of Croats in the Vares area. Owing to early snow and winter, more than 2,500 people, who have found shelter on the Pogar Pass overlooking Vares, are cold and without food. As death is threatening from all sides they fear they would end up in a mass grave, said the appeal.
