SARAJEVO, Nov 9 (Hina) - B-H Premier Haris Silajdzic met today with the
president of the International Conference on the Former Yugoslavia Thowald
Stoltenberg. The topics of the conversation were the kidnapping of two
members of the B-H police, the resumption of the Conference and the
humanitarian situation in B-H, acording to the report by the Sarajevo
Radio.
Talking about the continued peace process, Silajdzic stressed that "it can
resume, but only within the framework of the UN Security Council and the
framework we were presented with by the B-H Asswmbly."
Stoltenberg promissed, according to the above source, that he "will do
everything to see that the two members of the B-H police are released" and,
if possible, as soon as today. He also pointed out that he had arrived to
Sarajevo primarily "to discuss the safety of the convoys and their
escorts."
