GENEVA, Dec 1 (Hina) - Two-day talks on the division of property,
rights and commitments of the former Yugoslavia today ended at the
Palace of Nations in Geneva.
The consultative talks held under the chairmanship of Danish
diplomat Alf Jonsson were attended by the delegations from Croatia,
Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia and the so-called Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro).
The talks focused on financial means of the former Yugoslavia.
The Croatian, Slovene, Bosnian and Macedonian delegations said
debts and foreign currency savings had to be discussed as part of
negotiations on succession.
The delegation of the so-called Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
was uncooperative and tried to stall the succession process.
