ZAGREB, July 15 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Thursday evening received Prime Minister of the Moslem-Croat
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina Haris Silajdzic and the
Federation's Deputy Prime Minister Jadranko Prlic, the Presidential
Office said in a statement.
It was agreed that mutual relations were improving and that
there were fewer problems than it could be expected at the time
when the Washington accords were signed.
The meeting also considered the plan drawn up by the
international contact group for Bosnia-Herzegovina and decisions of
the Naples summit of the world's seven most industrialized
countries and Russia. They were evaluated as very favourable for
the Moslem-Croat federation in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but it was
stressed it was still uncertain whether the peace plan would be
accepted by the Bosnian Serbs.
The meeting agreed that international factors, involved in
solving the Bosnian crisis, must show and strengthen their resolve
in the effort so that this unique opportunity to achieve a peaceful
seetlement would not be lost.
