ZAGREB, July 6 (Hina) - The Croatian Presidential Council of
Defence and National Security held its 46 session in Zagreb on
Wednesday, under chairmanship of the Croatian President, Dr. Franjo
Tudjman.
The Council considered issues of internal and foreign
policies as well as the international position of the Republic of
Croatia. In this context the Council was informed of the five-power
contact group's proposal on the territorial constitution of Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
The Council was rendered a report on the visit of the
chairman of the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly, Miguel
Angel Martinez, to Croatia.
At the 46 session the Croatian Council of Defence and
National Security was informed of the preparations for the arrival
of the Turkish President, Suleiman Demirel, as well as of the
forthcoming tripartite meeting of Turkey, Croatia and Federation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina on the island of Brioni.
The Council also considered some questions in the relations
between Croatian and Slovenia, according to a statement issued by
the presidential office in Zagreb on Wednesday afternoon.
