ZAGREB, June 3 (Hina) - A meeting between representatives of the
ruling HDZ party and parliamentary opposition parties was held
today in the building of the Croatian Parliament. The talks focused
on the implementation of the 18 March agreement on distribution of
leading parliamentary posts.
"The talks were useful and we agreed to resume the meeting at
8 p.m. on Monday," said the leader of the Croatian Social-Liberal
Party (HSLS) Drazen Budisa after the meeting. The representative of
the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Mate Granic, confirmed that
the talks will be resumed on Monday. "Our wish is to implement the
reached agreements," he stated.
On behalf of the HDZ, Mate Granic, Jure Radic, Ivic Pasalic
and Adam Mestrovic attended today's meeting, while the opposition
was represented by Drazen Budisa, Stjepan Radic and Slavko
Degoricija.
