ZAGREB, May 14 (Hina) - "During the last two weeks negotiators of
the International Conference on Former Yugoslavia (ICFY) had
several bilateral meetings with the Croatian government as well
as with the Serb authorities from Knin in order to agree the
date, place and subject-matters of the economic negotiations
which should ensue after the Zagreb cease-fire agreement signed
on 29 March," said a statement issued today in Zagreb by
Ambassador Kai Eider, one of the ICFY mediators. Ambassador Eider
said that a considerable progress had been made but "a final
agreement on the place of the negotiations has not yet been
achieved".
Talks will continue next week in order that the
negotiations will be held as soon as possible, according to the
same statement.
