CAIRO, June 3 (Hina) - A ministerial conference of non-aligned
countries ended today in Cairo by adopting the final document which
requests, among other things, that entire Bosnia-Herzegovina should
be a protected zone.
The Organization of Islamic Countries supported a proposal
that the UN General Assembly should discuss the crisis in the
Croatian occupied areas (UNPAs) in the autumn, and it proposed that
the view on that issue should be included in the final document of
the conference.
However, it was said unofficially that a group of countries
headed by Zimbabwe rejected that proposal. Since no consensus was
reached this proposal will not be recommended by the Cairo
conference.
