GENEVA, May 7 (Hina) - A two-day session of the working group on
economic relations of the International Conference on Former
Yugoslavia ended Friday at the Palace of Nations in Geneva.
The Croatian side said that without an overall political
settlement to the crisis in the former Yugoslavia, it would be
difficult to realize all activities of the working group.
This was the second meeting of the working group this year and
it was held under the chairmanship of senior official of the
European Union Jean Durieux.
The group is due to hold another meeting on 6 and 7 June in
Geneva, which would also involve representatives of the World and
European banks for reconstruction and delegation of the UN
Protection Force (UNPROFOR) and the UN High Commissioner for
Refugees (UNHCR).
