CAIRO, June 1 (Hina) - Croatia's main goal is to reintegrate UNPAs
into the Croatian constitutional and legal system by peaceful and
political means as soon as possible and to find a peaceful solution
to the crisis in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatian Foreign Minister Mate
Granic, the head of a Croatian delegation at a ministerial meeting
of Non-Aligned countries in Cairo, told today's news conference.
Talking about U.N. Security Council resolutions on the control
of borders between the Republic of Croatia and Serbia, Granic said
that Croatia demanded an immediate implementation of the
resolutions.
Granic reiterated that Croatia was willing to peacefully
reintegrate UNPAs, but stressed that it was not ready to accept the
Cyprus syndrome.
After the news conference, Granic informed Croatian
journalists about his meeting held this morning with special envoy
of the U.N. secretary-general Vladimir Petrovsky. Petrovsky said
that the problem on UNPAs should be solved through the mediation of
the United Nations, stated Granic.
