ZAGREB, Apr 7 (Hina) - The alert committee, established on Thursday
afternoon because of a series of explosion in a military ammunition
storage of Duboki Jarak near Sesvete, decided on Thursday evening
to suspend evacuation of the residents of Zagreb's suberb of
Sesvete that was jeopardized by the explosions, stated the Croatian
Interior Ministry at about 20:30 this evening.
The alert committee, which is in permanent session, made
decision on suspending the further evacuation after receiving the
Croatian Defence units' reports on the place where the fire had
been raging and assessing the situation in the immediate danger
zone, said the same source.
No more blasts echoed after 20:00 hrs this evening in the
centre of Sesvete.
