ZAGREB, May 31 (Hina) - The special representative of the UN
secretary general, Yasushi Akashi, today discussed with his aides
the preparation of a report on the situation of human rights of
Serbs in Western Slavonia, UN spokesman Christopher Gunnes told a
press conference in Zagreb.
Gunness said that the report was foreseen by UN Security
Council resolution 994 and that it was expected before the end of
the week.
Akashi was also preparing a report on the situation in Bosnia-
Herzegovina pursuant to UN resolution 982 which would contain
several options for the further operation of the UN peacekeeping
mission in Bosnia.
Gunness would not give any details of the said reports.
