VIENNA, April 10 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Nadan
Vidosevic today visited two specialized UN agencies in Vienna -
the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the UN
Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
Vidosevic signed the Nunclear Safety Convention in the
presence of IAEA deputy general director D. Waller, who said that
Croatia was the 57th country to sign the document.
Vidosevic also met UNIDO general director M.M. y Ceampos to
discuss a comprehensive UNIDO aid project for devising the
strategy of Croatia's industrial development.
An initial amount of USD 45 thousand was granted for the
project which should serve as a model for other countries in
transition.
Vidosevic was accompanied by Croatia's permanent
representative to the United Nations and international
organizations in Vienna, Ana Marija Besker.
