SARAJEVO, April 6 (Hina) - Five gunmen today held up a UN
Protection Force patrol at Krivoglavci village near Sarajevo
and hijacked their UN-marked jeep.
UN spokesman Pierre Chavancy said that the hijackers were
wearing Serb military uniforms. They also robbed a Jordanian and
a Polish officer, seizing their helmets, flak jackets and a
radio-set, Chavancy said.
He held the Serb side responsible for attacks earlier in the
afternoon at the Sarajevo suburb of Hrasnica.
UN officials also registered four explosions of shells fired
from the Serb-held suburb of Vogosca. Bosnian army 1st Corps
sources said that the attack killed one person and wounded
several others.
UN spokesman could not confirm these claims, but said that
an investigation was in progress.
