ZAGREB, April 4 (Hina) - The co-chairman of the International
Conference on the Former Yugoslavia (ICFY), Thorvald Stoltenberg,
is expected to meet Croatian President's chief-of-staff, Hrvoje
Sarinic, either today or tomorrow, UN spokesman Michael Williams,
said in Zagreb on Tuesday.
In capacity of the special envoy of the UN Secretary-General
for consultations on details for implementing the new mandate of UN
forces in Croatia, Stoltenberg together with the UN deputy chief
commander, General Ray Crabbe, visited Belgrade on Monday where he
met Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic and a Croatian Serb
leader, Borislav Mikelic.
Williams said Stoltenberg had informed UN Secretary-General's
special representative Yasushi Akashi of his Belgrade talks.
At the press conference Williams declined to say anything
about results of the Belgrade talks.
