SARAJEVO, March 29 (Hina) - The UN has taken as serious, threats
from Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic.
Karadzic said Bosnian Serbs would regard UN troops as "an
enemy" in the event of new air strikes against Serb positions,
UNPROFOR spokesman, Russian Alexander Ivanko, said in Sarajevo
Wednesday.
Psychiatrist Karadzic announced these threats on Bosnian Serb
television last night, warning the UN 'blue helmets' not to even
think about a military operation against his troops.
Asked what the UN Protection Force would do to protect itself
if Serbs carried out their threats, Ivanko said that there were no
reasons for them to act in such a way as no air strikes had been
launched.
