SARAJEVO, March 6 (Hina) - UNPROFOR officials in Sarajevo today
reiterated their concern over increasing armed incidents in the
Bosnian capital area.
They counted 290 armed incidents in the city in the last 24
hours.
UNPROFOR severely condemned Serb sniping fire at trams and
pedestrians passing by the Hotel Holiday Inn in the very centre of
Sarajevo.
A spokesman for UNPROFOR said reinforced security measures
would be taken, but, he added, the security of civilians depended
primarily on the full respect for the cease-fire agreement which
had been signed on 31 December last year.
