ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister, Nikica Valentic,
today visited the Foreign Ministry. He was accompanied by his
deputies Borislav Skegro, Jure Radic and Ivica Kostovic.
Foreign Minister Mate Granic informed Valentic of the growth
and proliferation of the Ministry and its diplomatic network all
over the world.
"Croatia has established diplomatic relations with more than
90 countries, and 49 diplomatic offices have been opened in
Zagreb," Granic said.
"The Foreign Ministry is doing its utmost to present Croatia
to the world in a favourable light and to realise fruitful
cooperation with foreign countries," he said.
Valentic praised the Ministry's efforts, stressing the
importance of economic relations with foreign partners and the need
for the Ministry to equip itself to be able to coordinate Croatia's
presentation to the world.
