SISAK, Feb 1 (Hina) - The Croatian government commissioner for UN
Sector North, Marko Sremic, told a press conference today that in
cooperation with local Serb authorities about 20 cases of missing
and detained people had been solved since August last year.
Simic said the Croatian government would continue its efforts
at obtaining the release of all detainees.
The next meeting with local Serb representatives was to take
place on February 10 at a UN Danish Battalion base in Moscenica
near Petrinja.
Sremic expressed hope that the meeting would provide
information on 980 detained and missing people from Sector North.
