ZAGREB, Dec 17 (Hina) - Croatian industrial output in a period from
January to November 1996 rose by 3.2% in comparison to industrial
output from January to November 1995.
Capital goods output increased by 12.9%, while the production
of raw materials and semi-manufactures increased by 3.4%. A 0.7%
increase was registered in consumer goods production, the Croatian
Bureau of Statistics reported on Tuesday.
Industries that registered the highest growth during that
period were the shipbuilding with a 34.4% increase in production,
construction material production with 29% and electric power
industry with 25.5%.
Industrial output in November 1996 rose by 2.3% compared to
November 1995.
