ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - Through the Croatian non-government humanitarian organization "Nasa Djeca" (Our Children), the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) placed on the Croatian market 600,000 Christmas and New year's cards, of which three
quarters of the returns are intended for UNICEF's programmes of help to children in Croatia. Around 1.5 million kuna are expected to be earned from the sale of the cards.
ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - Through the Croatian non-government
humanitarian organization "Nasa Djeca" (Our Children), the UN
Children's Fund (UNICEF) placed on the Croatian market 600,000
Christmas and New year's cards, of which three quarters of the
returns are intended for UNICEF's programmes of help to children in
Croatia.

Head of the UNICEF office in Croatia Ute Deseniss-Gross at
Wednesday's news conference thanked the "Nasa Djeca" organization
for earning $ 208,000 from last year's Christmas sale for the
children of Croatia.
Officials of the "Nasa Djeca" organization, Emil Paravina and
Dragan-Marin Mateljak, said that a part of the money is to be sent
to children in endangered areas around the world.
