PRESIDENT TUDJMAN CONTINUES TO RECEIVE GET-WELL CARDS

ZAGREB, Nov 20 (Hina) - The Zagreb City Council President Zdravko Tomac, Wednesday sent a message to the President of the Republic of Croatia, Franjo Tudjman, saying: "Dear Mr. President, I am very happy that your health condition is improving and that you will soon return to your and our Zagreb. I wish you a speedy recovery and happy return to Croatia to which all citizens of Zagreb are looking forward." The mayor of Zadar, Bozidar Kalmeta, expressed the readiness of Zadar citizens to follow permanently the President in his "historic mission". Daruvar authorities voiced confidence that President Tudjman would "persist in accomplishment of his life goals." The Croatian Democratic Party of Rights, the Croatian Party and the Party of the Croatian State Rights, associated in the Croatian national block, sent a letter to President Tudjman, stressing that they had followed his call for the Croatian national unity, from the very beginning of the creation the independent Croatian state. The municipal aldermen of Siroki Brijeg, near Mostar, sent a message in which they stressed that after learning of the President's illness "the Croatian heart of Siroki Brijeg has started to beat with endless anxiety and fear, just like it beat with infinite gratitude and love for the dearest man, the president of all Croatians, the most deserving son of the Croatian people in the history of fulfilling the millennial Croatian dream." On behalf of the Association of the Herzeg-Bosnian war veterans, the association's president Miro Grabovac-Titan sent a message to President Tudjman, expressing his deep respect and wishes for the President's fast recovery.
