PROTEST OF ILOK TOWN COUNCIL

ZAGREB, Oct 23 (Hina) - The town council (in exile) of Ilok (an eastern Croatian town under U.N. transitional administration), on Wednesday expressed "special happiness" that the U.N. Transitional Administrator, General Jacques Klein, had enabled the Roman Catholic Bishop of Djakovo-Sirmium, Msgr. Ciril Kos, and other Church dignitaries to visit Ilok and say a mass on the Day of St. Ivan Kapistran, the patron saint of the town. At the same time the town council protested against Klein's decision not to let Ilok displaced people attend the solemn mass in their hometown.
