ZAGREB, Oct 21 (Hina) - U.S.A Roman Catholic Bishops' Conference member, in charge of churches in eastern and central Europe, Arch- Bishop Theodor McCarrick said on Monday that he would love to see Bosnia-Herzegovina as reunited "multiethnic, multicultural and multireligious state as it had existed before." #L# "Bosnia-Herzegovina was an example of such state," Arch-Bishop McCarrick told Croatia's news agency Hina after his four-day visit to Bosnia. During the tour to Bosnia he had several interesting meetings. The American arch-bishop held talks with Kresimir Zubak, a Croat member of Bosnia's three-member presidency, Bosnian Serbs' entity president Biljana Plavsic, OSCE representative Ambassador Robert Frowick, Islamic community leader reis-ul-ulema Mustafa Ceric and Roman Catholic dignitaries including Cardinal Vinko Puljic and Bishop of Banja Luka Franjo Komarica. During the talks with Croatian member of the Bosnian presidency Zubak and reis-ul-ulema Ceric the American arch-bishop found that it seemed to be "openness to dialogue" as well as "certain concern about some difficulties in the relationship between the two communities (Moslems and Croats) that create the Federation now." In Serb-controlled Banja Luka Arch-Bishop spent two day where he talked with Plavsic about the human rights' situation, religious freedoms and the refugees' right to return to home. During the stay in Banja Luka he also met the Catholic faithful and priests who told him about their "difficulties they face every day". Speaking about the role of the Catholic Bishop Franjo Komarica during the plight of non-Serb population in Banja Luka in the past four years, McCarrick said Bishop Komarica was a brave man who wanted to promote the policy of non-violence.
