The HDZ also requested that the residents of Mostar be allowed
to vote at the first local elections in the Bosnian Federation and
to have equal rights as other citizens of the Federation.
The HDZ warned about a regulation of Mostar's Transitional
Statute according to which the "first town council elected under
this statute is to remain in office until the first local elections
are held in the whole of the Bosnian Federation in line with the
law," and about a regulation that the "elected mayor is to remain
in office until the first local elections in the whole of the
Bosnian Federation took place".
