SARAJEVO, Sept 23 (Hina) - The counting of ballots was concluded
and the first preliminary results on the election of Bosnian
authorities were expected to be announced, after additional
verification, within the next 24 hours, director general of the
OSCE Mission for the holding of elections Jeff Fisher said in
Sarajevo on Monday.
The first reports on election results were currently being
compared with the original minutes at the OSCE headquarters, where
representatives of all political parties had been invited to
supervise the final verification, Fisher said.
After the preliminary results were announced, the Provisional
Election Committee must officially confirm them within 72 hours,
when it was possible to file complaints on the course of the voting
or the election results, Fisher concluded.
