ZAGREB, Aug 27 (Hina) - The head of the national coordination
committee for the preparation and conduct of elections for Bosnian
citizens in Croatia, Damir Zoric, sent a letter on Tuesday to the
OSCE representative to Croatia in charge of the Bosnian elections,
Tobias Wernel, asking for an explanation of the delivery of ballots
for some Bosnian municipalities.
Zoric said that among the ballots delivered to Croatia were
those for the northern municipality of Bosanski Brod, divided
between the Serb entity and the Croat-Moslem federation under the
Dayton peace agreement.
"We have established that the ballots delivered are intended
only for the Serb entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina," Zoric said, asking
the OSCE to immediately send ballots for voters from the
Federation-controlled part of the Bosanski Brod municipality.
Zoric said that the Croatian commission had also received
fewer ballots than necessary for some Bosnian municipalities and
urged the OSCE to rectify the error.
