RATIFYING
$ NORMALIZATION AGREEMENT
ZAGREB, Sept 16 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament's Foreign
Relations Committee on Monday endorsed a bill ratifying the
agreement on the normalization of relations between Croatia and
Yugoslavia.
After a closed-door session, Foreign Minister Mate Granic told
reporters that the agreement was "one of the most significant
contributions of Croatia towards peace and stability in this part
of the world, which fully opens the doors to Central European and
Euro-Atlantic integrations, and which finally put a stop to the war
against Croatia."
Granic stressed that the agreement recognized Croatia within
its internationally recognized borders.
The parliamentary subcommittee for Croatian minorities in
European countries also supported the normalization agreement.
