MUNICH, 13 Sept (Hina) - The Croat community 'Herceg-Bosna' from
Munich on Friday sent a letter to the Office of the Organization
for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Bonn, protesting
over certain irregularities which occurred during the preparations
for Bosnian elections.
The Croat community 'Herceg-Bosna' received numerous reports
on irregularities and injustice of the Bonn OSCE Office towards
Bosnian Croats working in Germany and members of their families, as
well as towards Croat refugees, the letter said.
A large number of Bosnian Croat refugees, who were currently
living in Germany, did not receive election material although they
had registered with the Bonn Office, the letter said.
Many Croats did not receive any answer to their request to
vote and many of them received notes saying that P-2 forms they had
sent had been rejected. Many of them received wrong forms or forms
without registration numbers or wrong ballots, the letter said.
The Croat community 'Herceg-Bosna' demanded from OSCE to carry
out a thorough investigation in the Bonn Office and allow all
Bosnian Croats to take part in the 14 September elections.
The protest letter was also sent to the Office of the Croatian
President, the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) Presidency in Zagreb
and Mostar, the President of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Kresimir Zubak, the German Federal Chancellor Helmut Kohl and
Foreign Minister Klaus Kinkel.
