The disputable issue was that the Croat side considered
everything as temporary while the Moslem side considered it to be
final and that only a court of law could decide differently,
Steiner said.
He stressed that Croatian Foreign Minister had been of great
help because he had realized that the European Union would review
its relations with Croatia if the present situation was not
resolved.
This had to be finished today because this circus could not be
allowed to continue, Steiner said.
A city administration based of election results was necessary,
a mayor chosen by the City Council this week was necessary, Steiner
said, adding that Tuesday was the last day to reach a decision
because anything else would be absurd.
