VINKOVCI, July 10 (Hina) - Twenty six displaced women from the
Tordinci village in eastern Croatia on Wednesday visited their
village under UNTAES control after being in exile nearly five
years.
The women were accompanied by UNTAES troops and a
representative of the Croatian Red Cross, Zvonko Domacinovic.
Their visit to some 100 houses in Tordinci passed without
incidents.
The Catholic and Calvinistic churches in the village were
fairly damaged and the houses had been looted, Domacinovic said
after their return to Vinkovci.
