LONDON, July 5 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa,
currently on an unofficial visit to the United Kingdom, met British
Deputy Prime Minister Michael Heseltine in London on Friday.
Matesa told reporters after the talks that they discussed
topics of mutual interest. We agreed that the relations between our
countries were developing favourably, but that there were a lot of
possibilities for their further promotion, particularly in the
economic area, he added.
Heseltine said Britain was willing to intensify the promotion
of economic cooperation with Croatia.
A British business delegation headed by Foreign Office
minister Nicholas Bonsor was expected to visit Croatia in August,
Matesa said.
