CROATIAN WORLD CONGRESS OPENS 3RD CONVENTION

BRIONI, Jul 5 (Hina) - The Croatian World Congress opened its 3rd convention at the Neptun Hotel in Brioni on Friday. The convention is attended by 200 representatives of the Croatian diaspora worldwide. The participants were welcomed by the Congress president, Simun S. Coric. In a brief speech, Coric stressed the Congress' important role in providing a link with the homeland. He noted that the Congress had been instrumental in persuading the Croatian Government to establish a Ministry of Return and Emigration. Secretary-General Josip A.
